Improving and enhancing Daimyo by making the area even more appealing to people of all ages and back grounds, a better place for residents to live in, as well as a safer, cleaner, more relaxed and attractive area to walk around, all the while maintaining the character of the neighborhood.

One of the most important goals of this project is to get people to realize how vital it is to improve our environment and reduce traffic and to start discussing ways to achieve those goals. We hope people will come to understand that it is within each individual's capability to make a profound and lasting difference.

At a minimum, we hope to organize at least one event enabling people to experience a day in a vastly improved environment. This can be a street event or an event incorporating the area parking lots by enhancing them with a novel role, for example, as a park, a playground or an open cafe.

An urban plan to improve Daimyo which would include various improvements such as putting high wires underground, adding more green and reducing traffic. Daimyo has the ability to be a trendsetter for not only other parts of the city but other forward-looking cities throughout Japan, as well.
